We decided to consign to the Power and Perfection Sale, a female that has a lot of history in her pedigree both on the Sale floor and in the Show ring. It has truly been a name that has “Echoed” through the barns over the years and settled deep in the bloodlines in the Hamilton herd. The grand dam of this fancy heifer: HF Echo 187N was truly one of our finest achievements over the years, both in the show ring and at the pay window. She was Supreme Champion Female and Grand Champion Female a number of times, as well as the Echo name appearing in the pedigrees of a number of herd sires: HF Tiger 5T, HF El Tigre 28U, HF Hemi 176W, HF Free Wheeler 191N, HF Progress 20K, HF Power Source 94M and others.
Sired by the outcross herd sire that topped the 2009 calf crop at Connealy Angus Ranch, when he sold for 210,000.00 to Express Ranches, Oklahoma and Sandpoint Ranch, Nebraska. The report on the first calves are that they are the Cowman’s kind. Birth wts are moderate and they look like they have a tremendous amount of power and performance in them. Echo 277Y had an Adjusted 205 day wt of 765 lbs and ranked 2/159 in our herd and that is out of a 2yr old. This female could sure tie into anyone’s show string or become a front pasture cow and raise the kind we like to brag about.
