One of the greatest building blocks in the development of the Hamilton Farms herd occurred when Echo 32E was flushed to a bull that has become an icon in the Angus breed today…”TC Freedom” resulting in HF ECHO 187N. There were also a number of flush mates, one of which was HF Free Wheeler 191N selling to LLB Angus for 9,000.00 for ½ interest, a bull that has created his own legacy in the LLB herd.  Echo 32E had numerous accomplishments, but we would have to say that 187N may have surpassed her dam, going undefeated as a calf and yearling, and then topping it off in 2005 by reigning Grand Champion Female in Calgary, Farmfair and Agribition, as well as Supreme Champion Female at Calgary and Agribition.  But probably more important than her wins was the fact that people of all breeds complimented this female on her overall quality, regardless of breed or color! The Echo cow family is also the foundation of herd sires like HF Tiger 5T (Top Canadian AI Sire), HF El Tigre 28U, HF Hemi 176W, HF FreeWheeler 191N, HF Progress 20K, HF Power Source 94M and others.  Duff Encore was the high selling bull in Duffs 2008 Power Plus Bull Sale and has been noted to possibly be one of the most impressive sons of the legendary bull “6807” in recent times.  Encore and his progeny are moderate in frame, easy fleshing practical cattle with plenty of eye appeal.
