Leachman Blackbird was purchased for $11,000 US as a heifer calf and is now a foundation female in the Riverbend herd in Idaho. Powerline, as you will see has already done an outstanding job for us. Powerline was Grand Champion Bull at Saskatoon and agribition 2002, as well as Supreme Champion Bull over all breeds at Agribition 2002. We retained ownership in a Powerline son out of Echo 32E – HF Power Source 94M, which we used extensively in our breeding program. He was Grand Champion Bull at the Calgary Stampede. ACCOMPLISHMENTS

Powerline was purchased in the Denver Stock Show Sale by Hamilton Farms, K-Deen Angus, Allan Browarny and Pat Fullam from Ireland. He definitely made a lot of friends with a lot of great stockman in his travels down the show road. Powerline’s show accomplishments as follows:

• Reserve Grand Champion Bull at Farmfair
• Reserve Junior Champion at Agribition 2001
• Class winner & 2nd high seller at the 2001 Denver Bull Sale.

Sired by Connealy Frontline, in the top 1% for weaning & yearling growth. Powerline himself ranked #1 in the entire Riverbend 2000 calf crop. Outstanding growth is stamped in his genetics. His dam Leachman Blackbird 8060 was the top performing heifer of the 1998 calf crop at Leachman’s in Bozeman.
