A full brother to Tiger 5T, El Tigre 28U was the high selling bull out of the 2008 Masterpiece Sale going to Ring Creek Farm (Pat, Karen & Len Friedel) of Fairview, AB. Ringing the bell two years in a row with her outstanding production is HF Echo 84R, first as a 2 yr old with Tiger 5T and again as a 3 yr old with El Tigre 28U. She weaned off her first calf (Tiger) at 830 lbs, bred back to calve exactly the same time, and came in on Sept 5th with El Tigre weighing 880 lbs. All of this was accomplished with no special attention and no creep. Quite a feat for this hard working Freedom daughter.
El Tigre has a low birth weight (85 lbs) that is bred in by his sire, has a dam that is fertile, feminine, beautifully uddered and structurally correct, he has performance that will run with the best of the best, he has EPD’s that couldn’t read any better and best of all….he looks like he does.
His sire HF Kodiak 5R was named Premier Sire at the WAF 2009, which was a great accomplishment. El Tigre was Bull Calf Champion at Farmfair 2009 and the finalist in the Angus Division of Legends of the Fall. He went on to be Senior Yearling Champion to the World Angus
Forum 2009 at Spruce Meadows. He has attracted a lot of attention by some very keen cattlemen with semen sales to numerous countries overseas such as England, Scotland, Ireland, Norway, Sweden, Finland, Denmark, Australia and some European countries.
